The Dr. Mac Bowman Horizon Foundation for Health, Hope, Healing and Honor – a 501 C-3 organization is wholly directed toward charitable efforts of service and financial support toward improving the lives of our citizens and advancing community actions which amplify the common good. All financial efforts will be guided by this tenet. Planned fundraising activity will facilitate the Foundation’s purpose in total. All funds raised will go toward the stated goals as summarized in the Mission Statement. This year, we are pleased to partner with the Rotary Club in their efforts to aid and assist abused or compromised children in our community.
Other identified foci of support for this year will be Project BBUILD – a mentorship program in cooperation with the Boys and Girls Club, The Family Y in its bed provision for children as well as its children and teen support programs: Salvation Army in support of displaced families and abused women: Senior Citizen’s support through Shiloh, Bethleham, Sand Hill Community Centers and the Council of Aging. They share with us the commitment and mandate to extend God’s Love from Him – to us – to others as we ever look to serve Him and our fellow man.
